I found this book to be compelling. At the time I was reading two other books. This one I could only read for short periods because of the subject matter. I did not know what to think when this book was chosen by my book club. I do not like Hemingway's writing and often question why he was chosen to represent the best of American authors in so many classes I took in college.

I do not usually like non fiction books. Actually we were looking for a nice place not far from home that we could take our camper for the weekend. Our first stop was Givhans Ferry . It had been years since we had been there. Each time the boys come over, they give the old man a run for his money on the games. But he holds his own pretty well. Also we bought the Wii fitness . It is a National Recreation area built by the Bighorn Lake. There are big sitesa beautiful lake, and the best part...it is FREE! Of course there is no phone service, no internet service, no electricity, no water, but FREE!The Wild Mustangs of Wyoming and the Bighorn sheep are right there too. We left the campground and headed for Bear Lodge in the mountains. We had been told it was a nice way to have lunch.The views were awesome.Plus once again we were back in the snow. We drove to the lodge had lunch and drove home the long way. We passed these guys on snowmobiles. We have decided we are not really good at going to big cities. Other than Chicago, we don't even like big cities;but we gave it a try. That particular day construction crews cut the electricity lines into the historic part of town, so most things were closed or closing, Bummer.
